Hamilton, New Zealand (Boating!)

We got a little bit of a late start today cause we went out last night, but once we got rolling boy did we have fun. We ended up taking out David's wakeboard boat


and doing some inland surfing! It felt so great to be in the water...and although there are no pics of it here, I did manage to throw the rope in a couple of times and really surf the wake!


(and in the process I almost took out some geese - check out the pic above!)



Colleen got out there and gave it a go too...it was her first time and she actually did quite well!


Then David got out there while I drove and showed us all how its done!


When it was starting to get late we decided to give the surfing a rest and get in some wakeboarding...I had some troubles getting into the bindings so we used the shaving cream trick - the boys thought it would be funny to shave cream my vest too...



Afterwards we put the boat away and David's friends got the BBQ started at his place...the food was ready when we got there! NICE! A great way to spend one of my last days in New Zealand!!!
