Mara and Mike in Hawaii

So, not long after arriving back on "the rock" my Ina, Mara, and her husband Mike paid a visit! And we had a blast! We grilled out own delicious food at a restaurant on the ocean...and indulged in Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation...


Watched the Monster Energy Pro on the North Shore at Pipeline...



Hiked Diamond Head (in the middle of the day - HOT!) and spent time at the beach...



Flew over to the Big Island for the day and rented a SWEET red Jeep!



Checked out the lava tubes..............................and the steam vents...



Checked out the Crater and offerings to the Goddess Pele as well as the Hilo Flea Market...



And Akaka Falls...where I found a tasty slug!



It was GREAT to have them so soon after returning from my trip to OZ and Kiwi-land! I miss the days of Baldwin Hall and am lucky to have been blessed with such an amazing roomie and friend in Mara...and now, Mike!!!
