Raglan
1/29/07
Today David took us into Raglan, a little surf town on the coast that has the longest left hand break in the world. Unfortunately it wasn't really firing when we were there:(
We kept exploring some nearby beaches and found a rock that looked like the rock from The Little Mermaid.
Some beaches didn't seem like they had ever seen people
At the longest beach we visited there were these 2 off road motorcycles that kept buzzing past us. We learned the next day on the news that after we left they ended up running into eachother cause a pretty serious accident!
(see the motorcycle tracks?)
When we got home we ate food from Scoff's (again) and decided to pull and all nighter...we played Buzz (I am horrible) and Sing Star (I Rock!) and watched 2 New Zealand movies - Sione's Wedding and The Fastest Indian...both were excellent, but I was the only one that made it through both - WEIRD seeing as I am usually the one to fall asleep right away!
And tomorrow...back to Hawaii with a brief stop in Sydney! Alooooha!
