Pro Bowl BABY!

Here we are at the 2006 Pro Bowl=) Although not a regular season game, it was my first NFL game EVER! I know, it is a sin...a Wisconsinite who has never been to a Packer game! Hopefully I will get to one this year?!? I wish I would have seen one when Favre was still playing! Ah well...

The Pro Bowl was a SUPER good time - I went with Colleen (obviously), Tamika, Brent, and Sophia and we met up with our friends Jason and Johnny. We all cheer for different NFL teams so it was pretty interesting - we were divided between NFC and AFC.

The Backstreet Boys performed at half time and got booooo-ed! I felt really bad for them...they sang some old school songs and ended with "Backstreet's Back." It brought me back to Baldwin Hall, Stevens Point, Freshman year of college!

The ride to the stadium was probably the most fun - Colleen got spooned by an old Japanese man and we met a character from the movie Waterboy - I swear we couldn't understand more than 3 words of his jargon and he laughed at himself constantly!

In Honor of Valentine's Day

Your Candy Heart Says "Get Real"

You're a bit of a cynic when it comes to love.
You don't lose your head, and hardly anyone penetrates your heart.

Your ideal Valentine's Day date: is all about the person you're seeing (with no mentions of v-day!)

Your flirting style: honest and even slightly sarcastic

What turns you off: romantic expectations and "greeting card" holidays

Why you're hot: you don't just play hard to get - you are hard to get

Wakeboarding on the Ocean

So, guess who gets to practice wakeboarding even when it is cold and the lakes are frozen in Wisconsin? That's right...me!!! Don't worry though, I am not really getting that great of practice cause the conditions depend a lot on the swells and the wind - conditions are VERY rough. In addition, the boots are too big for me and my back foot comes out ALL the time=( Total bummer. But, I get to be out on the water and in the sunshine. It makes me yearn for Wisconsin summers and stoked to come home this summer!

The other pic is of me injured from tubing. That is one thing that the wind and big swells are good for - TUBING! I received these battle wounds claiming my title as Queen of the Tube! I was relentless and would not let go no matter what - I paid the price with these scrapes - I think they are rope burn or something. I am not really sure what happened, but it was WAY worth it!

Colleen and the Great Spinach Debacle

This is my roommate Colleen...you may recognize her from the Honolulu Marathon pics or many of the other posts on this site. She is one of the coolest girls out there (even when all of her "turbans aren't working" - heehee). We have similar school schedules except on Mondays and Wednesdays - Mondays I have night class and she makes me yummy dinners and I cook for her on Wednesdays when she has class. ANYWAY - last Monday night I came home and she was busy cooking up some tasty treats when suddenly, the spinach she was attempting to thaw EXPLODED - EVERYWHERE...as illustrated in the adjacent picture! Ladies and Gentlemen, Colleen and the Great Spinach Debacle!!!

New Year's

I know this is a little late, but I had these pics on a cheapie camera so we didn't have to worry about losing the digital at the pub - needless to say, I just got them developed now! So, here is how we spent our New Year 2006 - at the Fox and Pheasant...high society pub in West Drayton, England! We made the best of it!
